What was:
My first encounter with a computer(pc) was when my mum bought an AMD IBM desktop through virtual community, back in 2000. In that same year I took on IPT, my first ever computer based learning (which I found REALY B-O-R-I-N-G). When I graduated from high school in 2002, I had no clue as to what I should do next. So, I packed my back and went toTAFE. Ironically, the first course I opted to do in TAFE was business studies. It wasn’t until I met an old friend who was doing digital media at the time that I was introduced to the BIG world of digital media.
What will be:
Currently, I am still studying digital media. Since I took on the course I have never looked back, from knowing little to nothing about computers to now being able to piece my own computer. My knowledge and understanding of computers and the digital world is been evolving each and every year. In my journey through the digital realm I have encountered website development and production, video production, 2D animation and 3D modelling and animation (which is my passion). Additionally, I have encountered a little Da Vinci secret called Flash. For all who are not familiar with flash, all you need to know is, it is the one of the all time greatest weapon in the realm of digital media.
At the completion of the diploma course, my next step will be to finish off my studies at uni. From uni, I hope that I will have enough to enter the game industry. Now that enough about me…and if you’ve read this far – Thank you for taking the time -.
